The characters come to life! Bowie's Storyville was celebrated and enjoyed by students as they had readers from the community and school district administrators come into their classrooms. Students were encouraged to dress up as book character and took up the challenge. There were so many creative costumes worn by students and teachers. Students were treated to two authors that came and read to them. Julia Hill read "Cyril the Serious Cirrus Cloud" and Diane Bertrand read "Sip Slurp Soup Soup" to students in the library and Julia Hill also read to parents and took questions on our parent night which also featured students reading and performing skits. The end of day activities included a parade that featured students displaying their reading choice.
